Liability: 

As a customer of KMAA (Korean Martial Arts Armory), you certify that you are under no restrictions of law that may prohibit or restrict your purchase and possession of edged weapons and that you will use the product in a lawful manner. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KMAA and staff against any and all claims, demands, actions, or proceedings, resulting in injury, loss of life or damages, losses, and/or liabilities, costs and expenses, including attorney fees, relating to or arising out of any claim asserted by you against the aforementioned parties.

KMAA knows that how personal information is gathered, used, and shared is very important to you, and we appreciate the trust you put in us.

What Personal Information Does KMAA Gather?

The information we obtain from customers helps us to personalise our customer service  and improve your shopping experience at KMAA. We obtain this information through:

• Information You Give Us

We receive and store any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our products, product offerings and website, and communicating with you.

• Automatic Information

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses KMAA.

• E-mail Communication

To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from KMAA if your computer supports such capabilities.

What's Up With Cookies?

• Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that KMAA transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to allow our systems to recognize your browser. They also help provide personalized logins and to store items in your Shopping Cart between visits.

• The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. However, cookies allow you to enjoy a convenient and enriched shopping experience so we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Does KMAA Share the Information It Receives?

KMAA is not in the business of selling its information to others. We share customer information only as described below:

• Agents: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include processing credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

• Protection of KMAA and Others: We will release account and other personal information when we believe the release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of KMAA, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

• We transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

• It is important for you to protect yourself against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when you are done using a shared computer.

Under 18

KMAA does not sell real swords or archery equipment  to customers under 18 years old. Blunt swords and other non-metal sword products may be purchased by customer of all ages. If you are under 18, you may use KMAA only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Self-Identifying Information

You provide such information when you search, buy or communicate with customer service. You provide information when you: place an order through KMAA; provide information in Your Account (and you might have more than one if you have used more than one e-mail address when shopping with us); communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information such as: your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number; and product preferences.

Automatic Information

Examples of the information we collect and analyze include: the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login credentials; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; purchase history, the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) click stream to, through, and from our website, including date and time; cookie number; and products you viewed or searched for. During some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

Delivery 

1. Processing Time

Orders are processed after the product payment has been received.

Most items are prepared for shipment within two business days after payment, provided that there are no special circumstances such as national holidays, production delays, or pending shipping payment.

Please note that all swords are handmade in Korea, and the production time is approximately one month under normal conditions.

If there are any unexpected delays, we will notify you by email.

2. Shipping Method

Orders are shipped via EMS, UPS, or Korea Post, depending on the destination and shipping conditions.

All shipments include a tracking number, and a tracking link will be provided once the package has been dispatched.

Shipments via EMS/Korea Post are dispatched Monday through Friday.

3. Shipping Cost

Shipping costs cannot be determined until the goods have been fully packaged.

he final shipping cost is calculated based on the greater of the actual weight (dead weight) or volumetric weight (CBM) of the packaged parcel.

Any shipping cost estimates provided before packaging are approximate and subject to change.

Shipping charges are billed separately after packaging.

Please note that the checkout system may display “Free Shipping,” but this does not apply.

Shipping costs are calculated only after packaging and will be invoiced separately.

Once packaging is completed, the shipping cost will be calculated and invoiced.

4. Payment Requirement for Shipment

Orders will only be shipped after all related costs have been fully paid, including:

  • Product price
  • Shipping fee
  • Handling and packaging fees
  • Any other applicable charges related to transportation

After the shipping fee invoice has been paid, the package will be dispatched.

5. Packaging & Responsibility

Packages are carefully packed to ensure safe transportation.

However, shipments are dispatched at the customer’s risk, although special care is taken to protect fragile items during packing.

Sword Orders, Commencement & Refund Policy

1. Order Commencement and Refunds

1.1. Once a sword order has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified for any reason.

1.2. A sword order is deemed to have commenced when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The order has been successfully placed through our website or sales channel; and
  • Full payment for the order has been received and confirmed.

From this point onward, the order enters the production, preparation, or allocation process, and no refunds or cancellations will be permitted.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Our policy allows for unwanted items to be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Unwanted newly purchased items will only be accepted if they are unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
All return shipping and handling costs are the sole responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

Prior to returning any items, customers must contact us by email to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
Returns sent without a valid RAN will not be accepted.

The issued Return Authorization Number (RAN) is valid for 14 days only.
Returned items must be carefully packed in a sturdy box to prevent damage during transit.
Please include:

  • The returned merchandise in original packaging
  • A copy of the original invoice
  • The RAN clearly marked on the shipping label

If a return contains more than five (5) small items, a restocking fee may apply.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

Please note that the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, unless defective upon arrival:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products
  • Swords, bladed weapons, and edged weapons
  • All products manufactured or modified upon customer request
  • Items subject to wear, breakage, or damage through normal use, including but not limited to scabbards, fittings, and accessories

Due to the nature of these products, refunds or exchanges will not be provided once the order has been confirmed and processed.

Additional Notes

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are adequately packaged.
  • KMAA is not responsible for items damaged or lost during return shipping.
  • Original shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Customs, Duties, and Import Regulations

Please note that refunds will not be issued for orders affected by customs clearance issues, import taxes, duties, tariffs, delays, seizures, or restrictions imposed by the destination country.

All customs duties, taxes, import fees, and compliance with local laws and regulations are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
KMAA is not responsible for any issues arising from a customer’s failure to comply with the import regulations of their country.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Refusal of entry by customs authorities
  • Confiscation or seizure of goods
  • Delays caused by customs inspection
  • Additional taxes, duties, or administrative fees

Orders affected by such circumstances are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

Price Change

At KMAA we try our best to assist our customers in offering the most affordable shipping service. Because this service is outsourced, we have no control over rate changes, however we endeavor to do our very best to continue to offer competitive rates.
